[UW-GIS-L] New ArcGIS install -- rasters won't load

Thanks for all your help. Still haven't resolved the issue and suspect a reinstall would solve the problem. A conflict between ERDAS and ESRI seems like a good bet, as I installed them both at the same time (next time I'll install ArcGIS last... and Imagine works). Tho the rdo.dll issue doesn't quite fit: I can _see_ the files in ArcCatalog and the raster properties dialog box, just can't open them or their properties. ....So it could be a permissions issue too.
PS: I'm only dealing with tif and img raster files at this time --
