[UW-GIS-L] DEMs and display

Thanks for your suggestions- I'll look into them
Phil- to answer your questions- I got the attached file from a UW link
(after unzipping the original .zip file) and tried to read into ARCGIS
when I ran into problems. The help in arcgis indicated that I need to
convert into raster format first but when I tried that I got errors.
