The Washington Geographic Information Council (WAGIC) is once again 
gearing up to acquire digital orthophotography of WA with the National 
Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP).  Data collection is planned for 2009.

As with the effort in 2006, funding partnerships are being actively sought 
with a number of federal, state, local, and tribal agencies to increase 
both the geographic extent of the data collection (from all agricultural 
lands to the entire state) as well as improve the technical specifications 
for the data.  $695,000 is required to increase the data quality and 
geographic extent for this project.

December 31, 2008 is the deadline for financial commitments to this 
partnership.  Additional information is provided at:
