Yes, it is an excellent deal, basically a free ArcGIS (ArcView) with all 
extensions. I encourage any instructors to allow their students to take 
advantage of this. ESRI will ship you a box of DVDs at no cost to you or 
the students, and they don't need to be connected to any license server.
