[UW-GIS-L] server access?

No problems on campus. There have been some things broken by changes in
the campus network over the last couple months, but there has been no
mention of changes or trouble in a couple weeks. Maybe your computer is
having trouble with DNS. Can you access other machines by name? Have
you tried servers like 27004 at 172.28.23.112 ?
BTW, the server stone.ess was retired a year or two ago.
Are you using a UW server because your machine is not state equipment.
I don't know, but that sounds kmat kosher (almost kosher).
Do you know that student versions of arcview for non-state equipment are
available?
