There will be a presentation of the SIMS - GIS Project to inform the UW community about the status of the project and the coming functionality.

Who should attend: anyone interested in building CAD and/or GIS floor plans, system owners that maintain an inventory of data based on a spatial location (a room), anyone that wants/needs to create custom floor plans such as occupancy plans, thematic (color coded) plans based on local data, etc.

Presentations by Capital Projects Office, Capital Resources and FS-Engineering.

Highlights include:

*         Centrally managed CAD floor plans

*         New floor plan geodatabase

*         New UW campus GIS geodatabase

*         Floor plan update process

*         Changes being made to SIMS
