The Geography Dept at the U of Washington has been conducting a GIS
Workshop "capstone course" during the spring quarter in each of the past
15 years. Groups of 3-5 students (about 10-12 groups) in the course partner
with organizations to perform community-oriented GIS projects, with
"community" interpreted broadly. Non-commerical projects are preferred.
At this time, I seek projects for the spring quarter offering of Geog 469 GIS
Workshop. A brief overview of the project activity and an outline of the
project description information that I seek are provided in a document at the
following URL.

If you are interested in providing a project, please complete as much of
the form as possible and return to me via email.
If you know of another organization that might be interested in
sponsoring a project, please also let me know that information as well.
If you would like to discuss by phone my number is 206-543-5296.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Tim Nyerges
