[UW-GIS-L] Island County, Freeland Area

Perhaps I should clarify-
The county assessor, who is statutorily responsible for any parcel geometry (whether paper or digital), does not maintain a GIS layer. They have been working towards that for a few years and may have something new since we last checked late last year. So anything you get from anybody outside of the assessor's office isn't official in any way and certainly outdated.

They do have a GIS parcel layer (shapefile) it is a bit outdated, at least the version I have. The person at Island County who could probably help you is Matt Nash MattN at co.island.wa.us<mailto:MattN at co.island.wa.us>

Island County doesn't have a GIS yet, they are close. They still use AutoCAD which doesn't link to any attributes, just line work.

Does anyone have any parcel or right-of-way information for Island County. Or does anyone have a contact for Island County GIS?
Thank you,
Melissa
