Curriculum coordinators,
One of the roles of the University Review Subcommittee is not only to
review your new course and course change applications, but to keep the
entire campus abreast of new course offerings. This is done in part
through the Curriculum Report (online at staff.washington.edu/uwcr/), but
it is also done by the sending out of courtesy copies of approved new
course applications to departments that might have an interest in knowing
of the new course.
There has been recently, however, a number of these returned with messages
to the like of 'you sent this mistakenly to me.' So far, however, these
have not been actual mis-sendings. Please read the accompanying note with
the application to determine if this is indeed a courtesy copy. If so, you
can do with it as you please.

Curriculum Coordinators,
The University Curriculum Review Subcommittee met this past Monday, May
21. All applications were approved and the curriculum report is online at
staff.washington.edu/uwcr/reports/01-05.html.
Remember, if you had any approved changes for quarters to which SLNs have
already been assigned (eg, AUT/2001), you will need to contact the Time
Schedule Office (times at u.washington.edu) to get the Time Schedule updated.
The deadline for the June meeting is Monday, June 4.

"Communication has changed so rapidly in the past 20 years, it's almost
impossible to predict what might occur even in the next decade. E-mail which now
sends data hurtling across vast distances at the speed of light, has replaced
primitive forms of communication such as smoke signals, which sent data
hurtling across vast distances at the speed of light."--Steve Martin
