Dr. Savelsberg (PhD Trier) is Associate Professor in Sociology and European Studies at UM-Twin Cities.  His areas of research include the sociology of law, criminology and comparative sociology.  His work has appeared in the American Journal of Sociology, Criminology, Social Forces, Social Problems, and Law Social Inquiry, among other journals.
