Dear History Department,

I am writing to you to let you know that the Burke Museum is hosting Dr. 
Richard Leakey, world renowned paleoanthropologist and environmental 
activist on Tues., May 8 at Meany Hall. He will be speaking on climate 
change.

The presentation begins with a visual introduction to the natural wonders 
of Africa by David Anderson, Chairman of Focus on Planet Earth. Dr. Leakey 
will follow addressing the timely topic of Climate Change and the Future 
of Life on Earth, the greatest crisis facing our planet.

Ticket prices are $40 for general admission, $35 for museum members, and 
$20 for students. Tickets may be purchased ay the Meany Hall box office 
beginning one hour before the event or in advance on-line at 
www.focusonplanetearth.com or by calling (800) 927-4647 Monday - Friday.
