Please forgive the unsolicited nature of my e-mail.  I am an Associate
Professor of History at Arizona State University and the President of the
Board of Directors at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural
Center (GWCMCC) in Phoenix, Arizona.  I am scheduled to deliver a talk and
sign books of the same title, Hurricane Katrina: America's Unnatural
Disaster (University of Nebraska Press, 2009), at the Elliot Bay Book
Company in Seattle on July 10, at 5:30pm.  
 
I have attached a promotional flyer of the event, and I hope that you will
help spread the word about my book talk and signing.  This topic is a
passion of mine, and I can use your help in generating as much attention to
the event and book as possible.  A portion of all of the book's sales go
directly to Common Ground in New Orleans.  If you have any questions at all,
