Considered one of the most influential individuals in the green building movement today, McLennan’s work has made a strong impact on the shape and direction of green building in the United States and Canada. His international green building program, the Living Building Challenge, has been used as a roadmap for creating some of the world’s highest performing buildings.

On April 21st, MOHAI <http://mohai.createsend1.com/t/r-l-dkuttud-qujilt-x/> successfully opened " <http://mohai.createsend1.com/t/r-l-dkuttud-qujilt-m/> Celebrating Century 21", a series of three complementary exhibits that explore Seattle’s 1962 World’s Fair and its impact on the Seattle of today.

Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., this free <http://mohai.createsend1.com/t/r-l-dkuttud-qujilt-c/> exhibition is located in the International Fountain Pavililion on the Seattle Center campus and is presented with support from the Seattle Center Foundation as part of the Next 50 Celebration.

MOHAI invites you to explore the memories, memorabilia, and myths of Seattle’s 1962 World’s Fair.

This two-hour research and interpretation seminar is intended for those who have already attended an introductory workshop or who have previous experience in archival research and historical interpretation.

This program is co-hosted by Seattle Public Library, King County Library System, and the Seattle Center Foundation.

MOHAI honors the entrants of the 2012 History Is____ Film Competition with a free screening of all submitted films in the museum's auditorium at 11:00am, 1:00pm, and 6:00pm.

Seattle Center Campus

Join us for a 90-minute walking tour of the Seattle Center Campus and experience the cultural, architectural and historical legacies of Seattle’s 1962 World’s Fair. Tours will be led by expert guides from MOHAI and the Seattle Architecture Foundation.

Tours will be offered through October 20 every 2nd and 4th Thursday at 10 a.m. and every 1st and 3rd Saturday at 11 a.m. (except Labor Day weekend).
