yes, i'm responding to my own message (no one else has).
there is a correction.  my race is not til 10:30 am according to the flyer.
this race time is 15 min. before the women, so if any of the women of 
husky racing (notice how i avoided saying "husky women") are going and 
have room for yours truely i'd be grateful for a lift.
