Dear Kenneth

Before you lead some members of our team astray here's some basic Physics:

> My cycle computer reports my speed in miles.

Speed in miles??? If speed is in miles, what is the unit for distance?
A mile-hour?

> Kilometers are longer than miles,

Nope, sorry miles are longer: 1 mi = 1.6 km

> Basic its a method to make you think you went farther then
> you really did.

And what's wrong with that??

> Who really watches the units..

You do apparently!

> Our engineers and scientists even build crap using English units.

Wrong again. Engineers use English units, scientists use metric units. You
may recall the recent crash of the NASA Mars Observor (a result of this
exact problem).
