Nice pics Hatter.  How come Ken looks so pissed off?  Forget the Noxema that 
day or something.  And why does everyone look so Large Marge?  Oh, wait, 
nevermind, those are jackets, and winter clothing and the like!  Nah, it's 
not that good down here...I did have to fish out the leg warmers yesterday.

Actually, we got a pretty sweet lightning storm Monday night that dropped 
quite a bit of rain and even a fair amount of snow up where I was riding 
yesterday.  It was pretty weird, but I actually went out and stood in the 
rain just to see what it felt like again-no, there's nothing funny in the 
tap water here, why do you ask?  The smell after the storm was absolutely 
incredible-so fresh. You think I would have been tipped off to the probable 
presence of snow by the fact it's February and there's a ski area 5 miles 
further up the road.

I decided if I ever achieve some sort of knowledge about this whole biccyle 
racing business and, god forbid, decide to write a book to help people down 
the path of misguidance, my first tip would be to avoid riding no hands at 
40 mph-it makes potholes VERY interesting.  Remember, you heard it here 
first.
