Although this is happening right in the middle of our road season, I thought there might be a few mountain bikers, runners, or kayakers interested in the competition.  Let me know if you're interested.

Hi Washington cyclists,



CSTV and The United States Adventure Racing Association are proud to
present the 2007 Collegiate Nationals Adventure Race Championships.  On
April 15th in Reno, NV, college students will represent their
universities and compete for a chance to win a highly-coveted collegiate
national championship.  Teams of two will mountain bike, trail run, and
paddle their way to the finish line.  Teammates do NOT need to attend
the same universities.  There will be awards given to the top co-ed,
male, and female finishers.



Hotel rooms will be paid for by the USARA, and kayaks will be provided
for all competitors.  The kayak portion of the race is a short paddle
with the current, so please don't hesitate to join if kayaking isn't
your specialty!  We want to stress that all abilities are welcome.



We would love to have Washington represented at the Collegiate
Nationals.  Please check out the website at

, and definitely let us know if anyone at Washington has what it takes
to represent their university at the Adventure Race Championships.
