New meeting time: 1:00 pm
Estimated departure: 1:30 pm (we will leave no later than by 2:30 pm)
Location: Ravenna Park & Ride under I-5 at NE 65th st

We decided to move it up a little just to ensure that we don't get
stuck in early rush hour traffic coming out of Seattle. Let me know
if you can't make the time.

We've lined up some host housing for the people riding in the van.
This means that we shouldn't have to pay for a hotel room but things
can always change at the last minute - make sure to budge enough
money if that happens. There's a chance for couch space but expect
floor space - please bring a sleeping bag and sleeping pad. I also
recommend earplugs. Make sure to bring your full kit and several
layering options of you have them - it's much better to err on the
side bringing too many cycling clothes than racing in a jersey and
armwarmers in rainy 40 degree weather. Speaking of which, here's the
weekend's forecast for Corvallis:

The ride down will take around 5 hours depending on traffic. We'll
do our best to try to find reasonably priced, healthy restaurant
tomorrow night for dinner. We'll also go grocery shopping to buy
food for breakfast and lunch on Saturday. If you have a sensitive
stomach or if you're ultra serious about what type of food you eat -
it's best to pack your own breakfast rather than wait to see what's
available in the grocery store come Friday night. Bring your own
energy bars, gels and drink powder if you use them as well. It's
also nice to have a small toolset - a couple of allen wrenches, tire
levers, tubes... just what you'd bring considering we don't have
access to a bike shop in case something goes wrong with your bike.

If you have any other questions, let me know or feel free to give me
a call: 206-321-7081.
