Hey Huskies,

Our weekly rides will leave from the IMA entrance at 9:30am this Saturday
and Sunday. The ride on Saturday will be similar to our Dawg Daze rides
these past two weekends: we'll split into different groups based on
speed/distance/time preferences, and each ride will have various turn-around
points. These rides will be "no-drop" - that is, riders will never get
"dropped" or left behind the group. The ride on Sunday will have a faster
pace and be geared towards riders with more experience and/or interest in
training and racing. For every ride, be sure to bring plenty of food and
water and, in case of rain, fenders and appropriate rain gear. If you can't
make it out to the weekend rides, check out the calendar on
www.huskycycling.com for more information about rides and off-the-bike
workouts during the week, or feel free to call out your own ride any time on
this listserv.

Also, don't forget Husky Cycling's annual introductory club meeting
this *Tuesday
October 11th at 6:00pm in Gowen 201*! This meeting will be your chance to
learn more about the club, officially become a member for the 2011-2012
year, and (as per Jerome's email earlier today) try on and order Husky
Cycling kits. Finally, remember that *Mayor of Seattle Mike McGinn will be
visiting our Saturday October 15th ride*! We'll have some free coffee and
pastries from our sponsor Revolutions Espresso while the mayor says a few
words in recognition of the club and the importance of cycling in Seattle
before we take off on our ride.

Email me with any questions - otherwise, see you out there!

Gennie
