POSITION INFORMATION:
There is one current vacancy with the Department of Ecology, Financial
Services Program, located in Lacey, Washington.

This position reports to the budget policy manager and is the agency
expert providing organization-wide capital budget coordination,
research, analysis, quality control, and oversight.  The work includes
development of the capital budget request and legislative reports,
expenditure monitoring, stakeholder communication, and overall process
improvements.

This position leads the coordination, the development, monitoring,
reporting and management of Ecology's $750 million capital budget.
Ecology's capital budget is complex and has significant impact on many
levels of state and local government and the general public. This
position manages capital budget issues that are unique and where there
is no established method for management.

This position provides expert advice and consultation to executive
management, agency budget managers, legislative staff, and the
Governor's budget office staff regarding Ecology's capital budget. The
position also provides analysis and support in developing and
implementing the agency operating budget.
