I thought some of you might be interested in this list.  I prefer a 
definition of culture and diversity that includes a perspective from 
people with disabilities since we share so much comon ground with other 
"oppressed minority groups".

 The University of Washington Multicultural Organization of Students 
 Actively Involved in Change (MOSAIC) announces the creation of a new
 e-mail list for people committed to diversity.


 MOSAIC is facilitated by UW graduate students who are committed to promoting
 the positive aspects of diversity, on and off campus.  Our theme for 
 the 1995/6 academic year is "Bridging the Gap" and we want to build 
 relationships between diverse communities.  This list is open to EVERYONE
 and will primarily be used to discuss information about: diversity,jobs, 
 higher education, community development, events, and technology.
