For those of you wise enough to have chosen Macintosh as your computer 
system, the current version of QuickTime (availabe for free download from 
Apple) includes QTVR, their first stab at VR to be released to the 
public.  It's fun, offers some small samples and you can find other QTVR 
clips out there in cyber space.  If you have the Apple QuickTake Camera 
and enough horsepower in your computer, you can even fool around with 
making some VR clips of your own.
