Medicaid funding of rotating tilt head

Hi
I am seeking information about the safety of using the Daedulus rotating 
tilt head with their mounting equipment for a Dynavox.  The rotating tilt 
head permits swinging the Dynavox down to the side. Medicaid has denied 
this item stating it is unsafe-we don't have any specific safety reasons. 
They spoke with the manufacturer of Dynavox who gave them this 
information. we are in the process of researching this information 
further.  But it would be helpful to know if anyone else has received 
such a denial?  Has anyone received an approval for the rotating tilt 
head from Medicaid?  Has anyone found it unsafe (please be specific)? 
Would really appreiciate any information that could be offered.
