Disability fellowship

   Here is some information about a graduate fellowship that we received 
from the national Council on Disability:

Bonnie O'Day, a member of the National Council on Disability, wishes to share 
the following information about a graduate fellowship for which people with 
disabilities are especially encouraged to apply.

The Georgetown University Graduate Public Policy Program
(GPPP) and the National Rehabilitation Hospital Research
Center (NRH-RC) in Washington, D.C., are pleased to
announce the Health Policy Research Fellowship in Disability
and Medical Rehabilitation.

This fellowship is a 2 year academic program leading
to a master's degree in public policy (MPP) from Georgetown
University, with applied research experience gained
at the NRH-RC.  The fellowship award will provide two
years of tuition (approximately $17,000 per academic
year) plus a monthly stipend of $850.

To qualify for this fellowship applicants must meet
all eligibility for admission to the GPPP and demonstrate
an interest in pursuing a career in health and disability
policy.  Strong preference will be given to disabled
applicants.  Persons from minority backgrounds are encouraged
to apply.

The Application Deadline is May 1, 1996
