Often, I've forwarded to the forum information I received via a listserv
based at Gallaudet University. Today, I learned they are planning to set
up a web site that is accessible and are looking for beta testers. Here's
the announcement, should you be interested. karen

TFA Web Site Planned; Beta Testers Wanted

TFA News Service will be on the World Wide Web in the not-
too-distant future. TFA will still be available via e-mail, but
the Web site will allow readers greater flexibility. Icons and
other graphical symbols will highlight new and important
information. Information will be available by category, and back
issues of TFA will be available upon request. It will become
possible to submit items for publication and to subscribe to TFA
via the Web. Finally, there will be links to other deafness-
related Web sites and Internet resources.

The TFA Web site will be designed to comply with the
guidelines for accessible Web sites now being developed by the
WGBH/CPB National Center for Accessible Media.

TFA Online, the working name for the Web site, will be
rigorously tested before it becomes available to the general
public. I am now looking for 25 to 30 beta testers -- people with
access to the Web and experience with using and evaluating Web
sites. If you are interested in serving as a beta tester, please
send me e-mail describing your interest, qualifications, and your
"vision" for a TFA Web site. My e-mail address is:
