The Assistive Techology Listserv is ready! Please advertise this
information in all appropriate newsletters, flyers, etc. The
instructions for subscribing and posting are located below.

To subscribe to the Assistive Technology Listserv, send a message
to the address Assist_Tech-request at wnpb.wvnet.edu with the
command SUBSCRIBE in either the subject or body of the message.
To unsubscribe, send a message to the same address with the
command UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject or body of the message.

Once users are subscribed, they may send messages to the
listserv at the address Assist_Tech-L at wnpb.wvnet.edu.
Subject heading should begin with the abbreviation (AT)
so that other subscribers will recognize that the message
originiates from the Assistive Technology Listserv.

If you are a member of WISe, do not subscribe. An Assistive
Technology conference icon should appear under the "Disabilities"
section in the next week or so. This will help keep the WISe
users' mailboxes clear of the large volume of material usually
associated with listservices. The AT list is available to
E-mail users around the world, so get the word out. We
think this will be a great conference. Thanks to Carol
Kann for a marvelous idea!
And thanks to Chad Matlick for his hard work in getting
us up and running!
