voice activated phone (fwd)

There was a message posted about options for telephone access for a person
with ALS and limited physical function.  I prefer to have people have
telephone that is not connected to their computer, as there are often
needs to use the phone when the computer is not on or broken.  A product
that I have found very useful is the Ameriphone voice and switch access
phone.  You answer with your voice and dial using any single switch with a
scanning of memory numbers.  The cost is $399 which is the cheapest I have
seen for similar products that don't do half as much.
