SESD Science Education for Students with Disabilities (National Science
Teachers Association Special Interest Group)

Now Accepting Nominations/Applications for The Lawrence Scadden Teacher of
the Year Award in Science Education for Students with Disabilities

Selection Criteria based upon the following:
- Open to current K-12, science, and special education teachers;
- Must have taught science at least 5 years to students with disabilities;
- Must have made an outstanding contribution to science students with
  disabilities;
- Candidates may apply on their own behalf or be nominated by peers,
  students, parents, or an administrator;
- The recipient will be recognized at the annual National Science Teachers
  Association conference (Florida 2000), and will receive a $1,000 award
  to be applied to travel expenses to the conference.
