Announcing Traning Program for SLP Assistants

The Washington Speech & Hearing Association and Shoreline Community College are pleased to announce the opening of a new training program for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.  This program, the first SLPA training program in Washington State, is a new addition to the Shoreline Communication College Professional-Technical Programs.  The classes will be scheduled in the evening to accommodate working students, beginning Spring Quarter, 2002.  

Students can earn an Associate of Arts degree by completing the approximately 45 credits of SLP Assistant classes and the college’s general education and core classes. Students can also enroll only in the SLP classes to get this training only.
