Sunrise Services, Inc. has been providing care and services for people with disabilities for 25 years. We are currently recruiting for a Program Coordinator for a new program that we are implementing - Personal Assistant Recruitment and Retention. In this program we will be creating a data base of Personal Assistants who could and would be referred to people who might be interested in hiring them. We will be training and supporting these new employers in their efforts to create a successful employer/employee relationship.

 Program Coordinator
Prefer candidates w/ personal experience w/ a challenging disability and/or Personal Assistants. Implement and assist in design of program to match employers with disabilities with Personal Assistants. Duties include supervision, training, give input on database design and maintenance, interviewing, documenting and reporting, networking, design advertising, QA implementation and more. This position requires a self-starting, productive and independent worker. Take the ball and run with it. Must be computer literate with word processing, spreadsheet software and database software exp. preferred; demonstrated respect for consumer choice and control; have experience serving the disability and/or senior community in their own home or personal experience using a Personal Assistant.
