I hope you will help pass the word about my Summer AAC course, running from June 24th - August 23rd. Registration has been extended beyond the usual UW registration time period. Hope you'll join us, or pass the word to others who may be interested in an introductory course.
This course has been completely revised into 2 credits strictly online plus 1 optional credit in on-campus workshops. These changes were in response to student suggestions to 1) reduce the online work load and 2)to make in-person workshops possible for local students. The course still covers interdisciplinary approaches to the implementation of aided and unaided augmentative communication systems.
As always, I welcome students and non-students alike, including professionals, caregivers, family members as well as AAC users, themselves. I anticipate that the online course will have local students who will also take the 3 on-campus workshops, and national and international students who will participate only online.

Thanks for passing the word!
