Do unemployed resent the employed

For an article for eSight in July.  Would love your comments!

QUESTION: "Do unemployed blind people resent those who have jobs? Why? What
are implications? What can we do about it?"

I remember once talking to a woman who said to me, "Well, you know, Nan.
They won't hire us."  To which I responded "I have a job."  She said, "Yeah,
you stinker!"

Was I being called a sort of blind "Uncle Tom"?
